Planning a large construction project means planning ahead for a significant amount of trash, waste, and debris. When you’re generating a fair amount of waste, typical trash bins aren’t likely to do the trick. When planning a well-organized and safe construction site, it’s time to schedule or order a dumpster from a trusted name like Western Elite. Not only can you rent a perfectly sized dumpster for your project needs, but once you’re finished, there’s no need for you to do any extra work. There are numerous reasons why renting a construction dumpster is a definite convenience, but if you’re unfamiliar with the sizes of dumpsters that we carry or what you what’s acceptable to place in your dumpster, we can help.

What Size Dumpster is Right for Your Project?

At Western Elite, we rent out various dumpster sizes, this way you’re never pigeonholed to a dumpster that is too small or too large for the construction project at hand. Which one’s right for you?

  • The Lowboy is perfect for construction materials like concrete, brick, tile, and dirt. Although one Lowboy can hold roughly 3 truck-loads, we recommend renting multiple if you’re concerned about properly recycling materials. If you want to ensure that building materials or debris won’t mix and make the recycling process simpler for the team at Western Elite, contact us about procuring several Lowboys for the rental period.

  • The 15-Yard Dumpster is a great choice for smaller to mid-size residential projects. If you’re planning a remodel of a bathroom, kitchen, or just a portion of a home, the 15-yard dumpster is likely the answer. As it holds 4 truck-loads of debris, this is typically the rented for various home remodeling projects. Keep in mind that although this size can carry about 4 truck-loads of waste, it isn’t meant for heavy rock, asphalt, dirt, or concrete debris.

  • 30-Yard Dumpster performs well for construction or demolition sites on a larger scale. It can hold about 8 pick-up trucks worth of debris, however, like the 15-yard and 40-yard, it cannot be loaded with dirt, rock debris, concrete, brick, asphalt, or sod.

  • 40-Yard Dumpster. The 40-yard happens to be the largest dumpster that Western Elite carries, as well as the largest you’re likely to find on the market. Once again, if you’re in search of a dumpster to place heavy debris, the Lowboy is the best option. However, 40-yard dumpster is a fantastic option for larger construction sites. Whether you’re renting this for an entire property cleanup or full home remodel, this dumpster is likely large enough to get the job done.

What Materials Will be Placed in the Dumpster?

Although all of Western Elite’s dumpsters are sizable enough to carry various construction site debris, not all are meant for the same materials. Check with a Western Elite representative to be sure that the dumpster you plan to rent will be accepted for what you plan to dispose of. In most cases, you won’t need to make special arrangements for the disposal of construction or demolition debris, general yard waste, or recyclable materials. However, if you have a question about particular materials, don’t hesitate to contact our team!
