Good to know: Wheels add 8″ to height · lift slots add 9″ to width — wheels go on (or come off) any container, lids are standard but optional, and lock bars are available on request. Tell us about tight enclosures and we'll plan the container and truck access around them. Mixed sizes at one location? We'll build the quote around your actual volume. Actual dimensions may vary.

Know before delivery

What can go in your container

Front load service takes a wide range of dry material — mixed together, or in a dedicated cardboard-only container if that's your heavy stream. Two things set the limits: what protects the truck, and what can never go in the container.

Accepted materials

Dry material, loaded loose and level with the rim

Keep it at or below the rim — an overloaded container spills onto the truck and the driver when it's lifted. If it doesn't fit, call us: an extra pickup beats a hazard.

Accepted — all types

  • Cardboard
  • Paper
  • Glass
  • Plastic

Accepted — with one rule

  • Metal - no wire, cable or banding
  • Wood - cut to fit below the rim
  • Construction materials - light C&D only
  • Green waste - no stumps or large logs
Weight is the one hard limit - the truck lifts your container over the cab, so dense material like concrete, dirt, rock, brick and tile rides in a lowboy, not a front load container.
Prohibited materials

If it isn't dry, recyclable material, it doesn't go in

Never in a front load

  • Hazardous waste
  • Toxic materials
  • Liquids of any kind
  • Batteries
  • E-waste
  • Contaminated soil
  • Regular trash
  • Tires
  • Aerosols, cylinders & flammable containers - even "empty" barrels
  • Medical waste & needles
This list isn't everything — when in doubt, keep it out. Call (702) 440-4242 before it goes in.

Where your material goes

Collected on our trucks. Sorted at our facility. By our people.

Front load material goes straight to Western Elite's own recycling facility on Nellis Boulevard — no brokers, no third-party processors, no guessing where it went. When every link in the chain is ours, your service doesn't depend on anyone else showing up.

Frequently asked questions

Answers before you request a quote

How much does front load recycling service cost?
Pricing depends on the materials, container size, number of containers, service location and pickup frequency. Call or submit the quote form for pricing based on your actual needs.
What is a front load container?
A commercial container with a slanted front and lift pockets — our truck's front forks pick it up over the cab, empty it, and set it back in place in under a minute. Sizes run 4, 6 and 8 yards, serviced on a recurring schedule.
Can I get a cardboard-only container?
Yes. Dedicated cardboard-only front loads are available for businesses with a heavy cardboard stream — clean, source-separated cardboard is the highest-value material we collect, and it goes straight to our own recycling facility.
Which container size do I need?
A 4 yard container often fits lower-volume businesses, a 6 yard works for many restaurants and retailers, and an 8 yard serves higher-volume locations. We will confirm the size after reviewing your material volume and enclosure space — or a local rep can stop by and walk your site with you, free.
What does Western Elite need from you to guarantee service?
Access. A gate code, a key, or a container placed where our truck can reach it — whatever your site requires. Give us access and we don't miss; locked gates and closed yards are the one thing that can stop a pickup.
How often can the container be picked up?
As often as six days a week. Frequency is set by your volume and how your business actually runs — busy weekends, tight enclosure space, seasonal swings — and one call adjusts the schedule when things change.
Can Western Elite take regular trash?
No. Front load containers are for recyclable material only — general trash collection in the Las Vegas valley is franchised separately, so trash can't ride in these containers. What we do take is broader than most expect: see the accepted materials above, and call if your material isn't listed.
What if our enclosure is tight or behind a gate?
Provide enclosure dimensions, gate codes, access hours and any clearance concerns during quoting. Western Elite will confirm truck access and container placement before delivery.
