Can Earn Better Rates Roll-off container loaded with source-separated cardboard

Cardboard-Only
Containers

Best for: warehouses, distribution, retail, and resort cardboard operations

A dedicated container for your cardboard - front-load for smaller accounts, roll-off when you move serious volume. Clean, source-separated cardboard is one of the most valuable materials we collect - and it can earn better rates.

Commodity Stream Roll-off container loaded with source-separated scrap metal

Metal-Only
Containers

Best for: fabrication shops, manufacturers, and industrial properties

A dedicated container for scrap metal streams. Source-separated metal holds real commodity value, and it runs on our trucks to our facilities like everything else.

Ask about metal-only
Heavy Material Lowboy container loaded with source-separated concrete for recycling

Concrete-Only
Containers

Best for: demolition contractors, concrete cutters, and industrial sites

Clean concrete, block and masonry - recovered and crushed into recycled aggregate. Too heavy to lift over the cab, so dense loads ride in a lowboy instead of a front-load container.

See heavy-material hauling

Every container on this page carries recyclable material only - no regular trash. What qualifies is broader than most businesses expect; the full list is just below.

Know Before Delivery

What can your business recycle?

A wide range of dry material qualifies - mixed together in a front-load, one clean stream in a dedicated cardboard or metal container, and a compactor's list is set at your site survey. Two things set the limits: what protects the equipment, and what can never go in any container.

✓ Accepted materials

Dry material, loaded loose and level with the rim

Keep it at or below the rim - an overloaded container spills onto the truck and the driver when it's lifted. If it doesn't fit, call us: an extra pickup beats a hazard.
  • Cardboard
  • Paper
  • Glass
  • Plastic
  • Metal - no wire, cable or banding
  • Wood - cut to fit below the rim
  • Construction materials - light C&D only
  • Green waste - no stumps or large logs

Weight is the one hard limit on front-loads - the truck lifts the container over the cab, so dense material like concrete, dirt, rock, brick and tile rides in a lowboy instead.

✗ Prohibited materials

If it isn't dry, recyclable material, it doesn't go in

Never in any container

  • Hazardous waste
  • Liquids of any kind
  • E-waste
  • Regular trash
  • Aerosols, cylinders & flammable containers - even "empty" barrels
  • Toxic materials
  • Batteries
  • Contaminated soil
  • Tires
  • Medical waste & needles

This list isn't everything - when in doubt, keep it out. Call (702) 440-4242 before it goes in.

Where Your Material Goes

Collected on our trucks. Sorted at one of our facilities. By our people.

One accountable team from your enclosure to our facilities. Western Elite owns the trucks, the routes, and the processing - so your service never depends on a third party showing up.

Our Own Facilities

  • Material goes straight to one of our own permitted facilities
  • Recyclables are sorted and sold back to the commodities market
  • Our own trucks and local drivers on every route

How Pricing Works

  • Every service starts with a free site survey and material audit - no one-size rates
  • Pricing is built from your material, container size and count, location, and pickup frequency
  • Volume discounts as your needs grow
  • High-grade streams like pure cardboard can earn better rates

Recycling you can see.

Concrete pile staged for crushing into recycled aggregate at the Western Elite dumpsite
Concrete becomes rock. Concrete from incoming loads is staged, crushed on site, and sold back into local construction as recycled aggregate.
Dedicated containers of recovered scrap metal at the Western Elite dumpsite
Metal gets pulled. Scrap metal is separated from incoming loads into dedicated containers instead of going to ground.
Recovered cardboard staged for recycling at the Western Elite facility
Cardboard comes back. Cardboard is recovered, sorted at our facilities, and sold to the commodities market - one of the most valuable streams we handle.

Drive into our dumpsite and the recycling isn't a marketing claim - it's the landscape. The concrete pile, the metal containers, the cardboard: that's material that came in as debris and leaves as product.

Why Western Elite

You have a choice with your recyclables. Here's why it should be Western Elite.

Trash collection in the valley is franchised - recycling is not. Missed pickups, surprise invoices, and unanswered phones are the three ways the wrong provider costs you money. Here's how Western Elite is different.

Guaranteed Reliability

We show up when others don't.

  • 99.5% on-time service across our routes
  • Local dispatch = faster response times
  • Proactive communication when schedules change

Result: Recyclables never pile up at your business - and no chasing your hauler for answers.

Transparent Pricing

What you're quoted is what you pay.

  • Clear, upfront pricing
  • No surprise add-ons or mystery line items
  • Clear, simple service agreements

Result: Predictable costs you can budget for with confidence.

Flexible Service

Plans that adapt to your operation.

  • Pickup frequency set by your actual volume - not a fixed route template
  • One call adjusts frequency when things change
  • Mixed container sizes at one location - built around how you run

Result: A service partner that adjusts to your business - not the other way around.

Local Team. Real Accountability.

Western Elite is locally owned and operated.

  • Direct access to real decision-makers
  • Faster issue resolution
  • A team that understands Las Vegas businesses and regulations

Result: Better service, fewer headaches, and a true local partner invested in your success.

Who We Service

Property types we service across the valley.

Every commercial property has its own rhythm - a dock, an enclosure, a turnover schedule, a guest-facing curb. We build the recycling program around it.

  • Office Buildings
  • Warehouses & Distribution
  • Property Management
  • Retail Centers
  • Restaurants
  • Manufacturing
  • Schools
  • Hotels and Casinos
High-Volume Accounts

Looking for a high-volume discount?

High-volume accounts typically include businesses generating 30 or more cubic yards of material per week or requiring frequent service - and at four or more 40-yard containers a month, a compactor usually pencils. Volume discounts are available for qualifying commercial operations.

Already Have a Provider?

Switching your recycling service is easier than you think.

Most businesses we quote already have a hauler. Here's how the changeover works - and what stays the same.

1

We review your current setup

Material, container size, pickup frequency, access, and what's not working today - a free site survey, no obligation.

2

We recommend the right program

You get a clear service plan and a written quote - container, schedule, and terms spelled out before anything changes.

3

We coordinate the changeover

Container delivery, timing, employee instructions on what goes where, and your first pickup schedule - handled.

One thing to know about how the valley works: under the franchise system, every business keeps a minimum level of trash service with the franchise hauler - that part isn't optional for anyone, and no recycler can replace it. What you control is everything above the minimum. Most businesses reduce their franchise service to the minimum and route their recyclable volume to the recycler of their choice - that's where the savings come from.

FAQ

Commercial recycling questions, answered.

Pick a service to see its most common questions. Don't see yours? Call (702) 440-4242.

Front-Load Recycling
How much does front-load recycling service cost?
Pricing depends on the materials, container size, number of containers, service location and pickup frequency. Call or submit the quote form for pricing based on your actual needs.
What is a front-load container?
A commercial container with a slanted front and lift pockets - our truck's front forks pick it up over the cab, empty it, and set it back in place in under a minute. Sizes run 4, 6 and 8 yards, serviced on a recurring schedule.
Can I get a cardboard-only container?
Yes. Dedicated cardboard-only containers are available at any volume - a front-load for smaller accounts, a roll-off when the cardboard really moves. Clean, source-separated cardboard is one of the most valuable materials we collect, and it goes straight to our own facilities.
Can Western Elite take regular trash?
No. Front load containers are for recyclable material only - general trash collection in the Las Vegas valley is franchised separately, so trash can't ride in these containers. What we do take is broader than most expect - call if your material isn't listed.

Compactors
How much does a compactor hold?
About four 40-yard dumpsters of loose material at a typical 4:1 compaction ratio - cardboard-heavy streams often compress even further.
What can go in a compactor?
Dry recyclables suitable for compaction: cardboard (no cores or tubes), paper of all grades, plastic - PET and HDPE containers, mixed plastic and film - foam and polystyrene, bubble wrap, packing paper and textiles. Prohibited materials include wood, pallets, metal, construction materials, glass, trash, liquids, and hazardous materials; damage from prohibited items incurs billable repair charges.
How much does compactor service cost?
Compactor pricing is set by your free site survey and material audit - your material mix, weights, haul distance and site all factor in, so we don't publish one-size rates. Equipment is leased on multi-year terms with quarterly maintenance included.
What businesses are compactors best for?
Operations with steady, high-volume dry streams - distribution centers, warehouses, retail, manufacturing, and resort cardboard operations. The threshold is typically four or more 40-yard containers monthly.

General Recycling
Do I still need trash service with the franchise hauler?
Yes. Under the valley's franchise system, every business keeps a minimum level of trash service with the franchise hauler - no recycler can replace that. What you control is everything above the minimum: most businesses reduce their franchise service to the minimum and move their recyclable volume to Western Elite.
Do you offer metal-only containers?
Yes. Dedicated metal-only containers are available for businesses with a steady scrap stream. Sizing, placement and pricing are set by your material and volume - call (702) 440-4242 or submit the quote form and we'll spec it.
Where does my material actually go?
Straight to one of Western Elite's own permitted facilities - our trucks, our facilities, our team, with no third party between your business and us. Materials are sorted and recyclables are sold into the commodities market.
What does Western Elite need to guarantee service?
Access. A gate code, a key, or a container placed where our truck can reach it - whatever your site requires. Give us access and we don't miss; locked gates and closed yards are the one thing that can stop a pickup.
What if our enclosure is tight or behind a gate?
Provide enclosure dimensions, gate codes, access hours and any clearance concerns during quoting. Western Elite will confirm truck access and container placement before delivery.
How often can containers be picked up?
As often as six days a week. Frequency is set by your volume and how your business actually runs - busy weekends, tight enclosure space, seasonal swings - and one call adjusts the schedule when things change.
